Chapeaux de Mode display window at night. 6514 Hollywood Blvd, 1920sChapeaux de Mode millinery at 6514 Hollywood Boulevard (just west of Wilcox) wasn’t a particularly well-known store—at least, not as far as I know—but I love the light in this 1920s photo. I can imagine it attracted many a late-night window shopper walking home after seeing a picture at the Egyptian Theater. (Hmmm…I wonder if Kathryn or Gwendolyn ever shopped there…!)
