The Hollywood Hotel at the corner of Hollywood Blvd and Highland Ave, 1915

The Hollywood Hotel at the corner of Hollywood Blvd and Highland Ave, 1915It’s hard to believe that Hollywood really was a sleepy little town once upon a time. This photo was taken 100 years ago, in 1915, so this would have been around the time those shameless movie people were starting to take over the streets. We can see the Hollywood Hotel at the corner of Hollywood Blvd and Highland Ave (the streetcar is on Highland) where there appears to be NOBODY on the streets.
