Howard Motor Company, at 4th Street and Western Ave, circa 1920s

Howard Motor Company, at 4th Street and Western Ave, circa 1920sAs I mentioned a couple of days ago with the Leimert Theater, I do enjoy a soaring tower, so naturally this photo caught my eye. It’s from the 1920s and features the Howard Motor Company showroom, which stood on the corner of 4th Street and Western Ave. I love the way they lit it to show the deco features of the tower to their full advantage. Miraculously, not only is the building still standing, but even more flourishes have been added!
