The USS The Sullivans (DD-537), a Fletcher-class destroyer, was commissioned in 1943 and named in their honor--the only navy vessel to be named for more than one person. It was decommissioned in 1965 and is now located at the Buffalo and Erie County Naval &#038; Military Park in Buffalo, New York, where it is open for tours.]]></description>
