Trained at the one on Lincoln & Pico in 1965. Yes, we wore white outfits with steel toed black shoes, a cap, and a black bow tie. The last station I worked at in 1966 was on La Cienega & Washington Blvd. in Los Angeles. It was built in the 1930s as a company operated station and was taken over as a Chevron dealership in 1966. It was called Robert Jensen Chevron. I believe there is a shoe store in place of it now. I left to go work in the aircraft industry at Douglas in Santa Monica then drafted into the Army in 1968. Other Stations I worked at were 20th St. and Wilshire, and Sepulveda & National.

Worked at several company owned Standard Oil Service Stations.
