I believe it was painted in 1945 or thereabouts. Currently being displayed at the Hilbert Museum in Orange, CA.]]></description>

Yes, we wore white outfits with steel toed black shoes, a cap, and a black bow tie. The last station I worked at in 1966 was on La Cienega &#038; Washington Blvd. in Los Angeles. It was built in the 1930s as a company operated station and was taken over as a Chevron dealership in 1966. It was called Robert Jensen Chevron. I believe there is a shoe store in place of it now. I left to go work in the aircraft industry at Douglas in Santa Monica then drafted into the Army in 1968. Other Stations I worked at were  20th St. and Wilshire, and Sepulveda &#038; National.]]></description>
