Crossroads of the World, the world’s first planned outdoor shopping mall opened at 6671 Sunset Blvd on October 29th, 1936. It features a variety of old-world architecture, including Italian, French, Spanish, and Turkish. And, not a little shockingly, it hasn’t been torn down.
So glad this place is still with us and still looks pretty much the same. I wouldn’t mind having an office here if I had to have one.
