An empty Hollywood Boulevard in 1957

Hollywood Boulevard with the Roosevelt Hotel and Grauman’s Chinese theater in 1957. Makes you wonder if this was taken on a Sunday morning . . . or was it just a slow traffic day? Oh and check out all that parking to the east of Grauman’s. How easy was it to get a park and just walk next door to catch a movie!

Amazing how many cars leaked oil back in the day haha.

Boy on a Dolphin is playing. Toffs seems to be operating. Shadows suggest morning hours before any early showings. Delivery vehicles might not have been around on a Sunday (blue laws hours) so perhaps Saturday prepping for weekend crowds?
