The original Brown Derby on Wilshire and the Hollywood Brown Derby on Vine St got most of the attention but there were two others. This one opened in 1931 at 9537 Wilshire at the corner of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Apparently it was busiest on Thursday nights because that was the traditional maid’s night off. This photo was taken in the 1950s. It’s a shame it’s not still there (it closed in the early 1980s) because that corner is now PRIME real estate!
