A couple of days ago I posted a photo of Hollywood Boulevard near Vine Street and talked about how the Hollywood Broadway department store dominated the skyline. This shot (from 1948) was taken from the Sunset Blvd / Vine Street corner looking north and we can see more clearly that it’s hard to miss. I’ve seen (and posted) a number of photos similar to this but I don’t think I’ve ever really noticed those wonderful streetlights before. Aren’t they wonderful?
