Not everyone is aware that the original Brown Derby on Wilshire had two locations. It originally stood at 3427 Wilshire between Mariposa & Alexandria. When the Chapman Park Hotel and Bungalows was built in 1936, the Brown Derby moved a block east to 3377 Wilshire, which is where we see most of the photos. This shot shows us the original location, where it faced due south, and not toward the corner.
