Hoot Hoot I Scream ice cream parlor, mid 1920sHoot Hoot I Scream – ice cream parlor, mid-20s, located on E. Valley Blvd. in Rosemead before it moved to Long Beach. What exactly an owl has to do with ice cream is beyond me, but it must have been good eatin’–the place lasted until the 1950s!

    This building was moved to Long Beach Blvd in South Gate, not the city of Long Beach.
