The shop of the Travis Banton at 6530 Sunset Blvd, where the Cat and the Fiddle restaurant now stands. Travis was the chief costume designer at Paramount Pictures, and is considered one of the most important Hollywood designers of the 1930s. Many of the famous costume designers had their own stores either before, during, or after their studio reins. Irene from MGM had hers in the Bullock’s Wilshire department store.
