Warner Bros. studios Sunset Blvd, 1926
Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, showing the Warner Brothers Studio, circa 1926. This is the studio where the first talkie, “The Jazz Singer”, was filmed. By the late 1930s, it was a bowling alley. By the mid-50s this lot was back to being a studio—Paramount Television Productions—and for KTLA, the first commercial television station west of the Mississippi.
