Aimee Semple McPherson’s Angelus Temple across from Echo Park just off the Eastern end of Sunset Blvd in (I’m guessing) the 1930s. By this stage, McPherson’s heyday was largely a thing of the past. Note the streetcar tracks on the road in the foreground (also a thing of the past!)
Tracks veering off to left were the connection up to Sunset Blvd. and the lines to Hollywood and Santa Monica Boulevards. Tracks going north were the run to Glendale-Burbank.
