I wish this grand ole gal had been taken care of and “maybe” she’d still be with us, dedicated a historical landmark and saved. I look at this lobby with history seeped deeply into the walls and columns (which I really like) and the rugs – just so very sad knowing she would soon be reduced to rubble. Shame on the “new” Hollywood!
How about this lively 1938 poster advertising the “Hollywood Hotel” movie? Boy, those were the days!
