We’re used to seeing photos of Alla Nazimova (the Garden of Allah hotel’s original resident) where she’s usually striking some sort of “grande dame” pose or other, so this one really stands out. I don’t know when it was shot, but it could have been taken yesterday. Talk about a modern haircut.
