Hollywoodland in the mid 1920s. This home is known as Wolf’s Lair and is still standing. It was built by L. Milton Wolf, one of the real estate developers who built up Hollywoodland. It sure had lots of elbow room but the Wolfs were woefully short on neighbors if they needed to borrow a cup of sugar!
