Sid Grauman’s Million Dollar theater near the top end of Broadway in downtown L.A. It was built in 1917 before Grauman built the Egyptian and Chinese theaters on Hollywood Boulevard, and is where he kept his offices. The theater is still there (it’s opposite the Bradbury building) and has managed to hang onto most of its ornate decoration. (At least on the outside.)
