Max Factor’s “Supreme House of Make Up”. This store was located on Hill Street in Los Angeles before he opened the (far more glamorous) building near the corner of Hollywood and Highland in November of 1935. That building is still there, it’s the Hollywood Museum and if you’re ever in town, is well worth the visit.
