Herbert’s drive-in restaurant in the 1940s - southeast corner of Beverly & Fairfax (now CBS Television City studios.)Herbert’s drive-in restaurant in the 1940s on the southeast corner of Beverly and Fairfax, currently occupied by the CBS Television City studios. It must have been wonderful to drive around Los Angeles and see these eye-catching circular drive-in restaurants with the tall central tower like Robert’s in Burbank, Stan’s at Sunset & Highland, and Scrivner’s at Cahuenga & Ivar.
