This is the Academy Theater in Inglewood, which I have featured before in this album. But that was a night shot and this is a day shot and I think the place is so striking, that it was worth featuring again. It opened in 1939 as part of a small chain of Southern California theaters and showed movies until 1976. It then became a church but it’s still standing today.
