After WWII, Los Angeles experienced a huge influx of population. Fritz Burns was a major real estate developer in Southern California, and saw it coming. This shot of his “Post-War House” was taken at the corner Wilshire Blvd and Highland Ave, Los Angeles, circa 1945, which sure as heck doesn’t look much like this anymore.
