"Peckers Point" lookout across Los Angeles from the La Brea Hills, 1949

The notation on this photo said this spot was called “Peckers Point” and was a popular overlook at Los Angeles. It also said that it was in the La Brea Hills overlooking L.A. I’ve never heard, nor could I find anywhere called the “La Brea Hills” or a smooching place called “Peckers Point.” Mind you, this photo was taken in 1949 so how knows what it’s called nowadays. Still, it’s a nice photo and I can see why amorous couples would go there to neck.
