“A Tree Grows in Brooklyn” gets it’s big, shiny, sparkly premiere at at Grauman’s Chinese theater on Hollywood Boulevard on March 1, 1945. From the shininess of the road, it looks like a bit of a wet night—I hope the movie fans sitting in the bleachers did get too soaked.
