This is the corner of Highland Ave and Franklin Ave in Hollywood in 1948. This is the corner where the Methodist church now sits and it’s odd not to see it there now. I never knew there used to be a Richfield gas station on that site. It’s also interesting to see the net of overhead power lines for streetcars like the red car we can see coming around the corner.
