Perino's restaurant, The Bachelors bar, and Elizabeth Arden, Wilshire Blvd, 1936A little while ago, I posted a 1935 photo of the Elizabeth Arden store at 3933 Wilshire Boulevard, next to “The Bachelors” bar. (https://www.martinturnbull.com/?p=4634 ) This is a photo of the same location, a year later in 1936, showing Perino’s restaurant, which was a high-class restaurant, which served French food but used no garlic—Alexander Perino hated it.
