This aerial shot of the Hollywood Bowl was taken 11 November 1956. Of all the times I’ve been to the Bowl—which is a lot because they leave it open for people (tourists) to wander in and take a look, which I’ve always thought was nice—I never thought about what lay beyond the entrance into the actual bowl itself. Looks like there’s a whole vast parking lot – I guess the performers need a place to park too!
