The 10 Cent Café located at 524½ S. Main Street, downtown Los Angeles. Fried liver and onions, T-bone steak, rib eye, sea bass, fried oysters – the 10 Cent Café had something for everybody and all for only 10 cents per dish. This photo was taken in 1936 so it was around during the Great Depression so I’m sure a lot of folks were plenty happy they could get a meal for a dime.
