I don’t normally post photos of L.A. taken as late as the 1980s (this one was taken July 20, 1982) but I thought this one was too good to resist. It shows headlights streak around Carl’s Curve on Mulholland Drive, reportedly named after a racer who went down the embankment multiple times. In the background are the lights of the San Fernando Valley. It somehow strikes me as being very L.A.
