Wil Wright’s was a chain of ice cream parlors that dotted the Southern California landscape from the 1940s to the 1970s. I don’t have a complete list of their locations, but I’ve gathered there was one in Hollywood and on the Sunset Strip, as well as Beverly Hills (corner of Beverly Dr and Charleville Blvd, Westwood Village (Glendon and Lindbrook), and Sherman Oaks (Ventura and Van Nuys.) This one was on Sunset Blvd. at Sunset Plaza Drive.
Here is a Wil Wright’s Ice Cream menu from 1953:
There was also a Wil Wrights in Huntington Beach and one in Newport at the corner of Dover Drive and Coast Highway.
Martin, this is the Sunset Blvd. and Sunset Plaza Drive location. Photo taken in 1950.

If you ever find them, Jo, let me know!
Not from Will Wright’s AFAIK, but google “old fashion metal ice cream parlor chairs”… Many similar old chairs and tables are for sale at a wide price range!
Why I googled Will Wright’s~
This young lady on “You Bet Your Life” said she worked at Will Wright’s. I love these old shows!

I worked at Wil wright’s Ice cream parlor on sunset in 1977/78 It was a lot of fun
Hey Donna – was their ice cream as good as they say it was?
Another Will Wright’s was in Pasadena on Colorado Blvd in the Arcade a half block east of El Molino. I went there my first day in California. It was July, hot, and magical to a sheltered Southern girl.
You must have thought you’d stepped in Wonderland. What years was that?
