This is what Western Avenue looking north from 1st Street (not far from Paramount Studios) looked like exactly 90 years ago, in October 1924. The people in those cars wouldn’t recognize it now. No streetcar tracks, no old bricks and mortar stores, and most of the signs now are in Korean.
