In my next novel – “Searchlights and Shadows” – there are a couple of scenes that take place at the NBC radio studios on the corner of Sunset and Vine. So I’ve been particularly on the look out for photo of it. There are many floating around, but a color one is rare indeed. When they’re in vivid Kodachrome color like this, it suddenly makes the place even more real.
Enjoying the vivid color scheme. And of course the palm trees and vintage cars which are always (to me) a necessary part of the Golden Age of Hollywood. My eye went right to that red truck. And the sun and shadow on the NBC building is just stunning.
