Los Angeles paper boy selling newspapers in traffic, 1947To sell newspapers back in Los Angeles in 1947, a paperboy had to have a big set of cojones!
I don’t know what model car we’re seeing in this shot, but it sure was popular!

    I think that this picture was taken in 1949 or very late 1948 as I see what looks to be a ’49 or even ’50 Mercury by the No Left Turn sign (middle left of picture). Most of the cars are 40’s models and a few from the 30’s.
