Looking east along Hollywood Boulevard from Orange Drive, 1930

looking east along Hollywood Boulevard from Orange Drive Here we have a view looking east along Hollywood Boulevard from Orange Drive (where Madame Tussauds now stands). The year is 1930s, which we know because Howard Hughes’ “Hell’s Angels” is playing at Grauman’s Chinese Theater. The movie must have had a huge publicity budget – just look at all those airplanes strung up over Hollywood Boulevard. They go all the way down the block!
