Intersection of Wilshire Blvd & Western Ave, 1933 as viewed from the Pellissier Building (Wiltern Theater)We’re looking at the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Western Avenue as viewed from one of the upper floors of the Pellissier Building, which houses the uber Art Deco’d Wiltern Theater. This shot was taken in 1933 at a time when there were no traffic lights on the intersection. Those poor drivers had to fend for themselves.
