It’s a shame that this circa 1930 photo of the foyer of the Pantages Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard isn’t in color because it would show off the Art Deco interior in all its glory. Fortunately for us Angelenos, it still looks like this thanks to an extensive restoration process in the 1990s. If even you have a chance to see a show there, take it. The ceiling of the auditorium is breathtaking.
