The servicemen lucky enough to be on shore leave in Los Angeles during WWII had a chance to visit the Hollywood Canteen where their entry ticket was their uniform. Here we have a shot of the entrance into the main hall, which was decorated to look like the sort of barn. On the left is a list of the all the unions and trade organizations who helped put the Hollywood Canteen together.
