MGM Optical Department photographing opening titles for "The Wizard of Oz" (1939)I’ve often wondered how big the opening titles to Hollywood movies were, and this shot of the MGM Optical Department photographing “The Wizard of Oz’s” titles show us exactly how it was done. This is especially interesting because what we see here are the original titles made for the movie, but not used in favor of the ones we’re used to seeing.
