Westwood Clock Tower circa late 1920s/early 1930sThis is the beautiful Westwood Clock Tower located at the corner of Weyburn Avenue and Westwood Blvd in Westwood, near UCLA. Nowadays, of course, this area is a lot more congested and packed in, but look at how wide open it was back then. That palm tree is still there but all those little bushes are now big shade tress. We can also see on the left a branch of the Desmond’s, the popular department store chain.
