Here’s another one of those slice-of-1930s-life I like so much. This was taken in 1937 at the corner of 7^th and Olive Streets in downtown L.A. It must have been summer because those women in the middle aren’t in coats. Or even hats! But get a load of that double decker bus. It looks like a shrunken version of those English ones, except with an open-air upper deck. This is Los Angeles, after all.
