Let me count the ways I like this early-1950s photo of Grauman’s Chinese Theater so much. It’s a little angled so it’s probably just a casual snap giving us a feel for regular life; the fact that we can see the western side of the Hollywood Hotel; and the fact that they can park in front of Grauman’s. But most of all, I love those three little decorative holes in the dark Buick in the foreground.
