You may not know this guy’s face, but you’ll know his name. This is Henry Gaylord Wilshire, the real estate tycoon who created Wilshire Blvd (1861 – 1927) I assume the Gaylord Hotel/Apartments at 3355 Wilshire Blvd was named after him.
