This is the view looking north on Highland Ave from Sunset Blvd, 1937. In the background, we can see both the First National Bank of Hollywood building on Hollywood Boulevard, and the Hollywood United Methodist Church farther up Highland—both those buildings are still around today. Unfortunately, the streetcar tracks are long gone.
