I’ve seen plenty shots of the outside of the Café Trocadero at 8610 Sunset Boulevard—and set a couple of scenes there in my books—but I don’t recall seeing an interior shot of it until now. I never pictured it having palm trees like the Cocoanut Grove and sombreros lining the wall above the band. This photo was taken in 1937, so maybe it was set up for a post-premiere party for some movie set down Mexico way.
