Re the Dolores at Wilshire and La Cienega: when I was in high school (1946-1948)
we used to go to this wonderful drive-in almost every day after school let out for the day. Great memories. Thanks for sharing, fondly.

I loved Van de Camps!! Choc. Cupcakes were my favorite!! I also remember Helms Bakery going through the North Hollywood neighborhood in which we lived!! That was heaven to me!! I was 7 yrs old! Dad had a Victory garden in the lot next door on the left! That would be 1944!! Ethel Ave, NH.!
