The "Bowl" Road leading into the Hollywood Bowl, circa 1922The inscription on this photo says “The “Bowl” Road, Hollywood, Cali” so I’m guessing this is the road that leads from Highland Ave into the Hollywood Bowl (known today as “Hollywood Bowl Road.”) The Bowl itself opened around July of 1922 so I’m guessing this was taken not long after. What surprises me is the house standing on the east side of Highland Ave right at the Bowl’s entrance. I’ve never seen that.
