Dr Brian Smith says: “That was part of the Saint Helena Sanitarium operated under the auspices of the Seventh-Day Adventists who also ran the College of Medical Evangelists in Loma Linda – now called Loma Linda Medical University and the college’s LA Clinic is now White Memorial in Boyle Heights.”

    Thanks for the correction. My mistake.
    The reason I misremembered is simple. There’s a very similar photo of Court Flight with a cafe in the same relative place.
    I have the largest Angel’s Flight postcard collection anywhere, though I’m not sure there are many Angel’s Flight postcard collectors. I have all of the Court Flight cards I’m aware of, about a half dozen.
