Of all the photos I’ve seen looking up and down Vine Street, I’ve never noticed that you could spot the sign on the Ravenswood Apartment building (where Mae West lived) all the way from Hollywood Boulevard. I just wish the photographer thought to stand on the west side of Vine so that we could see the Brown Derby’s sign lit up at night.
