I haven’t been able to figure out why actress Norma Talmadge has an office building named after her, but it was a charming one built around 1937 in the then-popular French-Norman style. The Norma Talmadge Building stood at 9000 – 9006 Sunset Blvd., and was inherited by her nephew Joseph Talmadge. The place lasted until 1963, when it was torn down. A huge steel-and-glass tower stands there now.
