I love this circa 1935 view of a wet Hollywood Boulevard decorated for the holidays because (a) it reminds me that we used to have wet sidewalks, and (b) because it highlights the unusual hexagonal tiling of the sidewalk itself.

I too love the pic of Hollywood Blvd – or of anything that’s wet in So. Cal. Love to you and Bob always.
